Teething....Regressing....Normal 2-yr Behavior?

Lately, Noah has gone back to putting a lot of things in his mouth again. He should be getting his 2 year molars in, so it could be teething, I suppose. Or perhaps now that he sees Kai beginning to bring things to his mouth, Noah is regressing to those old behaviors? Some things he just puts in his mouth and chews on vigorously. A favorite chewing item is Mr. Potatohead's arms. Other things, he actually eats - so far without any ill effects. Yesterday, he helped himself to some kind of berry that grows on a bush in the green space in front of our house. They look kind of like blueberries, which Noah loves, and that's what he also calls these berries - although I've told him that's not what they are and that he shouldn't eat them. Our neighbor, who knows more about the plants growing around here, has assured me that those particular berries are only toxic in extremely large quantities - I guess that's somewhat reassuring since Noah usually just samples a couple. Right after the berry eating, Noah walked by a flower pot on our porch and decided to taste some soil - this he did try to spit out. Finally, this morning while we were down in the playroom, he decided to eat a dead bug - maybe he at least got some protein out of that one. And I guess he has overcome his fear of bugs.
