Conversation with Noah

Yesterday, Noah disappeared upstairs. After a while, it occurred to me that it was awfully quite upstairs, so I called up:
"Noah.....What are you doing?"
No response.
"Noah....What are you doing up there?"
No response.
"Noah, are you in your room?"
No response.
"Noah....?"
No response. Should I start worrying? In an effort to avoid having to race upstairs unnecessarily, I changed tactics.
"Noah....would you like a hot dog or turkey for lunch?"
"Turkey....and soppa (soup)....and ärtor...and cantaloupe....and milk."
Whew, he was okay.
"Noah are you being naughty or good up there?"
"Naughty."
By now, I could hear he was heading down the stairs knowing that lunch was on the way. When he appeared, he had half a jar of vaseline smeared across his face - and an adorable grin, so how could I get mad at that. The mischievous two's are a never ending adventure!
