New Indoor Play Fun

Today we met up with Ava, Gavin and their moms at a new play area that Gavin's mom discovered. It's called Little Kids Big City and it was a lot of fun! It just opened a few weeks ago and must not be very well advertised yet, and is also tricky to find, so we were the only ones there along with one other mom/kid. There are four areas: a post office, a grocery store, a gas/car wash/mechanic station, and a fire truck with a hose. In the grocery store, the kids could push shopping carts around, then check out (the scanners on the registers actually worked when you pointed them at the food!), pay for and bag your groceries. The fire station had a fake brick wall with a fake fire that the kids could point the hose at. The post office had mail to weigh, sort and send. The gas station had two cars that they could drive, fill up with gas, wash, and tinker with. It was really pretty neat. I'm sure it will get much busier once word gets out. Noah had a blast so we'll definitely be coming back here soon.
