Burning Energy (and a little bit of $$) at the Mall

Neither Phil or I are much into shopping, which I guess is mostly a good thing. So although going to a mall is not really a preferred destination for us, it is a great place to let Noah burn off some energy in winter time. This morning after breakfast, we headed over to the absolutely gigantic Mall of America. In the car on the way there, I commented to Phil about a driver in front of us who was making some erratic and potentially dangerous moves. Noah piped up from the pack seat, "He is being such a show-off!" aptly applying a phrase from one of his new Christmas books to the situation at hand. The crowds at the mall were minimal, though the sales were quite extraordinary - they were practically giving things away. Noah was thrilled to ride with Daddy and Mamma on several of the rides in the amusement park - the faster and higher the better, none of them seemed to scare him in the least. He had a huge smile plastered across his face the entire time. After some running around and a quick bite to eat, we headed back to the comforts of our home and the pretty prairies surroundings!
