Oh, no - it's here again!!

And just like that, it's time for winter again. No nice slow easing into the cold season for us. Nope. Election day was warm and balmy around 70 degrees, almost reminiscent of a late summer day here. Three days later it's a high in the upper 30's and our first snow fall (no accumulation except a dusting on roofs and a few other surfaces). I am definitely not ready for this!! The rest of this weekend has been freezing - just in the 30's and a howling wind which of course makes it feel even colder. I know I really can't complain, because we did move here willingly, but I don't think I'll ever get used to the cold months of the year in this neck of the woods.
