Gram Visits

This past weekend, Gram came up for a visit from Virginia and we had a great time (though unfortunately not many pictures to show for it). On Saturday, the boys and Phil got to have Gram to themselves while I taught my Swedish class in Minneapolis. Later that day, we all attended the first annual Oktoberfest in our neighborhood. The temperatures were record cold and frigid, but the event was well planned and everyone enjoyed lots of beverages and good food. We are so fortunate to have landed in the company of such a terrific group of neighbors! On Sunday, we had lunch out in Hudson, Wisconsin, then headed to a pumpkin patch and apple orchard. The temperatures were chilly, which if nothing else, kept the crowds manageable. Noah had lots of fun running around to the different pumpkins, while Kai was bundled up in his stroller:

The boys loved spending time with Gram and we're glad she'll be back with Dadday at Christmas.
