Since our ECFE (Early Childhood Family Education) class was not scheduled to meet this week, we invited the group to come play out our house. Noah was excited to have his "eeceefee" friends over and stood at the door for at least half an hour, looking out for their arrival. It has been such an unusually cold winter that everyone is really suffering from big time cabin fever - getting out and about for playdates is essential! It was the first time getting together outside of the classroom environment, so it was fun to watch the kids interact in unfamiliar surroundings. There was plenty of solo playing, but also lots of interaction, wild running and bouncing on the playroom couch, hugs that turned into friendly wrestling and copious amounts of snack consumption. No tears until it was time to leave - who wants the fun to end? We have a great ECFE group this year with fun kids and super nice moms. Here are a few pictures from the morning:
