Kai is one month old today. So far life is mostly about eating, changing diapers and sleeping. Noah still seems to be very accepting of his new brother and loves to come up and nuzzle him. There has been one major jealousy incident - when I was nursing Kai the other day, Noah came up and put his head on my lap right next to Kai's feet. I thought it was all very sweet until a few minutes later when Kai let out a terrible howl. When I looked down, I saw one of Kai's feet in Noah's mouth. My vocal reaction must have been quite strong, because Noah immediately released his mouth and burst into tears. Although he hadn't broken through Kai's skin, there was a very definite tooth mark on the poor little foot. Hopefully that was the first and last love bite from Noah.
